No more cotton. Replace it with hemp. For God's sake.

Get rid of half the farms of cotton growing along the rivers, watch the rivers begin to return to former glory before big cotton farms sucked up water. Hemp uses much less water, hemp makes many more products, is stronger and whole plant can be used. Ford made a car from hemp, never cotton. Cotton is a greedy USA way to make a buck, once at the free labour of slaves, now the free labour of mother nature. We have lost way too much native species. They knew all along that hemp is the best plant to grow, but history points out, they chose cotton for all the wrong greedy reasons, like enslavement and destroying nature's free gifts, like water and food.
