The reason she is wearing the rainbow 🌈 suspenders is because she just got a Kennedy Center award. To get that award you get the rainbow suspenders. It’s a great honor. The lady that’s shown in the clip with reaction is singer songwriter Carol King and the song Aretha Franklin is singing is written by Carol King like 54 years ago. Yes, that was "the Star Wars guy" (George Lucas) sitting with the other honorees. He was being honored for his work in film. The Kennedy Center Honors are presented each year to five outstanding performers in music, dance, film, and so on. Carole King was one of the honorees, the blonde woman they kept showing, and she wrote "Natural Woman," the song Aretha sang so amazingly in Carole King's honor.
