Australian-first revolutionary epilepsy surgery for children

Nine-year-old Aisha has lived most of her life with debilitating epilepsy. Surgery and medication was unsuccessful in controlling Aisha's seizures until now. Using a game-changing new laser procedure, doctors now hope Aisha's seizures are gone for good.
The surgery was made possible by the collaboration between Western Sydney Local Health District and Sydney Children's Hospitals Network.
