I've noticed they talk about the winner of the series getting to go to compete in the International Gladiators series but it ends up being the Series 2 winner on the female side who gets to go to the International Gladiators while the winner of Series 1 does the battle of the champions. Obviously the male winner of Series 2 and female winner of Series 1 were reserves for International Gladiators but I'd be a bit miffed at being promised the chance to compete and not getting there.

41:06 It was good they Stopped The Travelator to allow Kathy to finish, should really have more of that in future Gladiators Episodes
@Brucetiki13 жыл бұрын
Is that the only time they stopped the travelator for a contestant in the Australian series. Also, the music used to promote International Gladiators was the Skytack music from the UK series, but it was used for Whiplash in the Australian series.

That was a Fantastic Men's Eliminator, Rhett caught Andrew up & Lost His Shoes coming off The Zip-Line so had NO GRIP for The Balance Beam, but somehow managed to catch up and win! Also at around 44:16 Andrew put his Right Foot on The Static Section of The Travelator so it could've resulted in a rematch from The Beginning of The Balance Beam if he went through first, but that stumble at the top from Andrew allowed Rhett to retake the lead & win!

Good job that the rolling logs were replaced with the quaterpipe for the 2008 series, I think the rolling logs were dangerous because of the number of challengers who were unlucky to fall off them.

39:15 Goodness another challenger has fallen on The Rolling Beam! Kathy ended up losing a good 25 Seconds trying to get back on the course & on to The Cargo Net!

Controversial Stuff in DUEL with TAIPAN, in my opinion the Challenger did not attempt to pull the Gladiator across so it really should've been 10 POINTS to the Challenger Falling onto the opponents Pugil-Stick was a complete accident and also maybe the fault of the opponent too

I thought you had to complete the gaunlet in 25 seconds. With Tania the whistle was blown at 27 seconds. Did they play extra time for something.
@OneHundredPercentAus3 жыл бұрын
No, it's typically been 30 seconds, although I think the timing might've been 25 in some of the earlier episodes and things were aired out of order. 10 points for 20 seconds, 5 points for 30 seconds.
@magicalsenshi86853 жыл бұрын
@@OneHundredPercentAus It was 25 seconds in Season 2 as well (even in the first Ashes series, as referenced by UK commentator John Sachs in the UK broadcast). It officially became 30 seconds in Season 3. Interestingly, Rhett made it through in 26.9 seconds, and it seems that he would've gotten nothing, but John Alexander decided to give Rhett 5 points as Hammer held him up too long.

Why do the female challengers outfits keep changing? Market research for audience appeal? There have been three different styles so far this series!

having Andrews duel replayed was a joke in my opinion. yes he fell onto taipans stick but got up again very quickly so in my opinion taipan simply lost his balance and stepped over therefore Andrew should have been awarded 10 Points
