Australian rules for many of the games prevent most of the action that made Gladiators fun to watch. The ruling that the red contender (hated that they call the contenders challengers too) pushed rebel off the bridge really was not a correct call. At least the call against vulcan was correct because vulcan did indeed use his hand to push the contender off the bridge

This was a controversial question in the UK version in series 5 a contender was disqualified for shoving the gladiator off. In series 6 another contender was able to get away with a shove.

I agree with you. So the object is to get the gladiator off the bridge but you can’t push them? What’s the point, then?

SUSPENSION BRIDGE is the event with The Most Grey-Area Rules It is indeed controversial the referees obviously feel Nicole Hooked REBEL With The Hammerhead & Forced Her Off The Bridge rather than Hitting Her Off The Bridge

@@drewconway7135 As far as I know the rules state you just have to get across to the other side for 10 POINTS but you're NOT allowed to Push The Gladiator Off in the process or Drop Your Weapon

@@davidfearis7335 The phrase “set up to fail” comes to mind. So you have to knock the gladiator off balance, but you can’t push them off, so either they have to fall off or you have to find a way to get past them on a narrow, wobbly bridge without being knocked off yourself? It just seems impossible

I wonder what set Condor off in Pyramid? I was surprised not to see Flame on Suspension Bridge. But then they put her in for Whiplash-I don’t think anybody would be able to pull her out of the circle. At least on the bridge you have a chance to get 5 if you can hang

Yeah imagine if you were a challenger in whiplash and you got giant sized Flame, while your opponent gets Cheetah, who would fit in your pocket. I'd be so annoyed. Perhaps flame had a shoulder injury and couldn't do duelling

Tamzin ran up the middle of the travelator which is not allowed - usually if someone can't make it up they stop it.

By that point she’d already lost, so what does it matter? It’s not like her time was going to make her a qualified replacement in the next round if someone had to drop out

You're correct that The Contenders are NOT Allowed To Use The Static Section Of The Travelator For Help However in Tamzin's case she Lost The Race & I think was over the time allowed to qualify for a Fastest Loser So that's why they allowed her to run up the static section
