That was fantastic and well done (belatedly) for the valuable insight you both provided. I have been listening to a lot of Elizabeth bishops work recently and Les' sawmill poem reminded me of her quietly and highly descriptive account of what she was seeing. Particularly something like At The Fishhouses. Les is gone now but his contribution to Australian poetry and world poetry is immense. Goodness knows what he would have thought of "Instapoets"!
