Gandhi was no doubt an important contributor to freedom struggle. But Nathuram godse made him immortal by assassinating him. After which, congress sort of idolise gandhi and we live in a world which believes the narrative that gandhi brought freedom without any violence. Which is true to some extent but frustrating becoz everyone else's contribution becomes pointless or meaningless infront of non violence. I always think, if gandhi wasn't killed like that, in few years people wd hav asked him directly on his Hypocrisy on partition and his blind eye towards the violence his beloved jinnah and muslim league did . I wd like to here gandhi's response to that. Nathuram godse was a very short sight man. He was angry , he killed him.
