Who is this allah that Mohammed worshiped? We read that in the year 624 AD Mohammed changed the direction of prayer to the Kaaba. At that time the Kaaba was a place of pagan idol worship. So Mohammed bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idol worship where some 360 idol gods were being worshipped there at that time. We know from the Bible that our God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never have condoned that one of his prophets would have bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idols. So clearly Mohammed’s allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So who is Mohammed’s allah who is happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst some 360 pagan idol gods? All we know for sure is that Mohammed’s allah is not our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible.

As Al-Quran clearly says in chapter number 112 and verses from 1 to 4 is that “In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. Verse 1: Say He is Allah the One. Verse 2: The Self-Sufficient Master, whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks. Verse 3: He begets not, nor was He begotten; Verse 4: And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.” So this is the definition of Allah (subhana watala) that we Muslims all over the world worship. And this is the same God of prophet Adam, David, Moses, Jesus and Abraham (May peace and blessings be upon them all). And by changing the direction it indicates that the East the West all belongs to Allah the most merciful. Your second question: Did Prophet Mohammad worship at the Kaaba during pre-Islamic days of idolatry? Ans: In Islam your intention is most important. For your information prophet Muhammed(صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) never bow down to the idols but he bow down to the One true God (Allah). What is ‘Kaabah’ used for? ‘Kaabah’ is used for the direction of prayer. If all the muslims started to pray in their own direction there would be chaos all over the world. Kaabah is used for the direction to show unification. Prophet Muhammed(صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) teaches pure monotheism. As we can understand from various Hadiths and Quranic verses (mentioned above verses can be said). There is no doubt among the muslims on the pure concept of monotheism, actually it is the fundamental pillar of Islam. And you may say why did Allah (subhana watala) create those situations for prophet Muahammed (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ)? Well that is the situation for every prophets in fact, prophets were sent to correct those unethical conditions of society. And prophets are role models for us. And from those unfavorable conditions God tests us in various ways for testing our faithfulness, truthfulness, kindness etc. This is a rule of Allah (Subhana watala) mentioned in chapter number 8 (Al-Anfal) verse number 53 “That is so because Allah will never change a grace which He has bestowed on a people until they changed what is in their own selves. And verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-knower.” And it is clearly mentioned about the God of prophet Muhammed, Moses, Jesus, Abraham (may peace and blessings be upon them all) is one true God. for example in chapter number 4 verse number 125 it says "وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًۭا مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌۭ وَٱتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۗ وَٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ خَلِيلًۭا" meaning “And who is better in faith than those who ˹fully˺ submit themselves to Allah, do good, and follow the Way of Abraham, the upright? Allah chose Abraham as a close friend.” and also from chapter number 3 verse number 64 it says "قُلْ يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍۢ سَوَآءٍۭ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِۦ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًۭا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُولُوا۟ ٱشْهَدُوا۟ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ" meaning “Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O People of the Book! Let us come to common terms: that we will worship none but Allah, associate none with Him, nor take one another as lords instead of Allah.” But if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted ˹to Allah alone˺.” There are multiple verses like these which affirm the idea that the God of Prophet Muhammed, Moses, Jesus, David, Abraham (may peace and blessings be upon them all) worship the One true God (Allah).

Who is this allah that Mohammed worshiped? We read that in the year 624 AD Mohammed changed the direction of prayer to the Kaaba. At that time the Kaaba was a place of pagan idol worship. So Mohammed bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idol worship where some 360 idol gods were being worshipped there at that time. We know from the Bible that our God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never have condoned that one of his prophets would have bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idols. So clearly Mohammed’s allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So who is Mohammed’s allah who is happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst some 360 pagan idol gods? All we know for sure is that Mohammed’s allah is not our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible.
