Mine is 14 and he's sleeping on my lap right now. He's been completely attached to me his whole life. Definitely had anxiety being alone at first but got used to it. Very dedicated to his owner. He did develop hip and leg issues. He can't jump on furniture or go up more than a few steps or down any number of steps anymore, but he still gets around, even runs sometimes, and plays a little every day. Occasionally falls over or slips on hardwood.

Mine (Sonny) made it to 16. I miss his presence…He had dental disease and declined rather quickly the last two months. highly accurate descriptions, insights on this video. I would not hesitate to recommend this breed as a good companion. Maybe some day, I’ll be open to getting another.
