Great coverage as usual, thank you Howard and Heather. The grey EH ute was interesting, while I was photographing it a bloke who seemed to know its history told me it had been widened 8 inches to accommodate a Commodore dash, the car was built around the dash. Also had an interesting front beaver panel that I couldn't work out and my informant didn't know either

G'day Howard. We should have been there in my 41 coupe but my health had other ideas. The pale green 32 roadster 18mins in also has a Frenzel supercharger on the flathead in it. Really rare piece of hotrod performance gear from back in the day.

Howard, we could cruise on the Thursday and the Friday and also on Saturday and Sunday we could cruise from 5pm until 10pm after the public left. Lots of fun.

My mistake.... the pale green 32 has a MacCullough supercharger. The McCullough sat horizontal on top at the front with the carbs above that (like that one) whereas the Frenzel sat vertical above the centre of the manifold with the carbs behind it towards the firewall.

They certainly get around We had the hot rod shot here in wa in 2010 and I see so many of the cars in your pictures Howard and I have photos of the same cars The custom FJ looks like it has been restored since I photographed it as it was just a dark red in my picture and yours looked like a candy red 👍👍 Might have been the second fj you showed near the end in my picture 😂😂
