Check out another teacher/student comedy called Summer Heights High, actor named Chris Lilly plays a Drama teacher teacher (Mr G), and 13 year old ( Jonah from Tonga) and private school girl (Ja’mie). Chris Lilly is a genius!

Their names are Theo and Nathan Saidden Australia Pre 1984 had the cane a long bamboo stick to give the cuts across the hand and the Catholic Schools also had the rubber or leather strap to whack you with . Corporal punishment was banned in the 80's after years of kids mainly boys being put in hospital by teachers.

I’m going to get canned for my comment 😂. I’ve never watched the super wog show . Yes I’m a born & bred Aussie, I don’t swear, oh my son made me say the F word once, we both cracked up laughing. I’ve only watched a few reviews which I find too much over the top humorous language and violent. I’m definitely not anti wog, I was born in the 1950s and have many terrific Italian and Greek friends. One girlfriend married an Italian and when they call in he says “Wog boy has arrived, I crack up laughing at his Italian jokes. I worked with an Italian born girl who married an Italian. He has such a strong accent sometimes I can’t understand him and he can’t understand me, so his wife sits and translates for us, the 3 of us end up in hysterics. All the actors are probably terrific people and I love the way many of the different cultures here we can all laugh at ourselves. But their humour in this show is a bit too over the top for me. Must ask my Italian friends if they watch it - wouldn’t surprise me if they loved the show.

Yeah ruler on edge across knuckles Also the yard ruler across the ass They broke one over my brother Thar was a different era can't even speak to them now It never hurt us we grown up to be productive people in society The funny thing is the one's they spared the rodd asxwe called it The majority are in jail as adults and we are contributing to society Why im not against disapline or a smack as it sets boundaries and teaches accountable for your actions But a beating is different that is abuse and then they need to be held accountable for their actions Thats Aussie humour rapid fire to much sarcasm to get through 😂 Cheers guys 🦘🇦🇺👍

The Headmaster/Principal is wearing an academic black gown. The Asian student skit refers to members of the Asian community who put extreme pressure on their children to achieve high results in school to the detriment of the whole person developmental psychology of their child. Australian teachers do not act in this way as portrayed in the comedy skit.

That was ridiculous! Over the Top. Our teachers are not like that. There will be some bad ones of course. But the political correctness has gone over the top here too. ❤ I didn't like that one.

Sorry Deb Will have to agree to disagree on this one I'm old school and turned out good in society Was taught accountable for my actions Nothing wrong with disapline/ smack to bring someone back in line But a beating totally different that's not exceptable Sometimes talking to kids don't work even removing stuff Why I believe in a controlled punishment as its a lesson learning of accountability for real life As a adult you will be held accountable and have learnt society's boundaries and go to jail A lot of people I know that was spared the rodd so to,speak are repeatedly in jail including relatives The most spoilt kids are the biggest criminals and exspect a easy life style Where's in my family we were held to a high accountability and had to work hard for everything If we got out of line there was accountability depending on what was the punishment but spanking was for major issue's Same when at school it was the same and the funny thing was had more respect for those teachers and learnt more under them than anyone I had a teacher that you miss behaved knew how to inflict pain as disapline But on the other hand if you did the right thing and answer questions because behaving she'd reward you with a lollies So you realised it wasn't personal but a lesson in life do bad things and life going to hurt But do the right things in life you'll be rewarded and it probably why I've never seen a jail cell ever So I do see why corporal punishment can be a bonus if used correctly and why normally head masters used to dish it out with another teacher present to make sure it was done within the guide lines of rules and your parents had to sign a document every year giving them permission if it warranted So not all kids got punished and as I said earlier now in jail When I look back on it I did deserve what I got even as rare as it was It made me a better adult and never stolen my creativity or broken my will But did make me a stronger person that's able to deal with whatever life throws my way I'll have to disagree with you on this one as I've lived through it Cheers again for the other day request

@davidcruse6589 Hey David, I wasn't referring to physical punishment. I think it should be back, within reason. I've got 5 older brothers who got the cane, a couple more than others 😆 and they are all good people today, but we had great parents too. I believe a smack never hurt anyone either. I went to school in the 60s and 70s. I got bullied, but I was taught how to deal with it, and my parents and older siblings always supported me. I never bullied anyone either in retaliation. Kids are not allowed to take risks anymore in case they get hurt, and that is no good for anyone, especially boys. I just meant the crude way they were talking to the students. I know it was meant to be funny, but I didn't laugh at this one at all. I just want to see kids getting out from behind social media where so much of the bullying is coming from. Cheers Debbie

@@AussieDebb yeah I'm same grew up in same era I always comment to parents where I walk how good it's to see them as a family outside enjoying nature and feeding the animals in the ponds I've seen such a increase since covid stopped and especially last 12 mnths and to see how happy the kids are feeding the animals and being outdoors truly takes me back to being a kid and what I say to parents It's like people have gone back in time and simple things making them happy Also think because money tighter these days as well but you can see them all enjoying being outdoors Yeah these guys that's part of their humour shock value and even the cop one in spots like this So I do now know understand and agree with your comment It's why people who are rude and attack other for their comments just don't understand written words can mean many different things Why I prefer to speak face to face as alot more subconscious things you pick up on tone is a big one It's why I wasn't having ago at you just probably different points of view and why my reply was long to try and let you know how I was thinking and now with you adding more I can understand your comments better and intention and I definitely agree with you Cheers mate thanks for reply and hope you didn't think I was attacking your comment as it wasn't my intention as everyone entitled to their opinions regardless what others think and what makes this such a beautiful country to grow up in freedom to think and speak Unfortunately not sure how much longer 👍
