Jim Courier had weird shots. He wasn't as talented as other players his age (say, Sampras, Agassi, Becker, etc). But he was still number one in 1991-92. He was ranked #1 and won 4 grand slam tournaments. He outworked them all. It makes him a model for people with not as much talent. He is an inspiration. And of course, he is very likable. He has become a great commentator/interviewer. I'm a massive fan of Courier! He was my favorite when I was a kid! I got the same shoes as him in 1993, two years after they were popular. They were on sale, I couldn't afford the full price. I loved them!
