Djokovic has a calmer temperament on change of ends that works to reset. The tension builds and he smashes a racquet or does a big 'roar', but he always seems to reset. Had Andy tried something similar instead of a constant monologue of whinging, berating himself and swearing, I think he may have won a few more of these.
@RandomZShorts152 жыл бұрын
The roars come more towards the end because he puts more energy in and is more exhausted. But he smashes rackets when he gets injured or something, the last time he smashed one is when he got injured and hit the shot into the net.

I can remember watching Rosewall and Laver play when I was a kid.and they were already tennis legends. Seeing them here some 40 or 45 years later is very emotional. Of course, the one missing in that group is Roy Emerson. Notice that Rod Laver, at 77 in this video, was no longer deemed strong enough at the presentation of trophies to come and stand on the podium along the others. Rosewall, 4 years older, at 81, could make it. But he was assisted by the hand when he stepped down. You can see they are aging men, vulnerable to a possible fall, and fragile, but they seem to have kept a lean figure and avoided overweight. I've long believed that tennis players are among the fittest athletes in sport, if not the very fittest above all the rest. Djokovic is incredibly fit, lean, flexible, amazingly quick-footed from corner to corner, and aesthetically athletic, a real biological marvel. He obviously takes an extreme care of himself. By contrast, Boris Becker, now his trainer, does not look like anything close to his former playing figure. He's obviously neglected his physical maintenance and allowed weight to creep on.. Only hoping that some young spectators of this match here may be lucky enough to watch Djokovic come to the winners podium in 50 years and are even able to compare aging Djoko with their memories of tottering Ken Rosewall and Rod Laver at this 2016 OZ Open final ceremony.

imo you have to be much more fit in tennis than other sports (football,basketball).I played all 3 and tennis is by far most difficult to play for 2-3 hours

@@milandjukic4583 Little doubt about it. Tennis players develop better overall fitness (speed, strength, flexibility, mobility, endurance, longevity) than all other sports, including dancers and gymnasts.

@@roobookaroo well they need to develop better fitness cuz sport is so demanding. I tried to play on 30 degres almost faitned after 20 minutes,meanwhile i can easily play football with friends for 2 hours. Basketball is also hella exhosting if you play fast pace game running back and forth

How come AO Channel can’t show the full Federer v Nadal final from 2017?

Murray's forehand is frankly laughable. He doesn't even accelerate through the ball. There is no forehand lag, its almost like he is stabbing at the ball. Look at the first set, he couldn't even keep the ball in play for the entire first set.

School Of Thought he ends up muscling the ball too much because of his movement to his right

The guy is better than 99% of the people in the world who play tennis

@@jeremy_fragrance_desi Was ranked 1 too. Murray's legacy is understated. He won so many good matches against the big 3 and was never a pushover. He could hold his own against anyone on his peak.
