Venus insane serve at 14:16 is my favorite of hers, I’ve been trying my whole life to get a slice serve that just curls away like that and it’s not easy. I have to pretend im serving on the deuce slicing wide which is a much more natural pathway for slice serve for it to workout, but still not a high percentage for it to be automatic like Venus does it. Just goes to show you much much dedication and practice goes into these shots (I’ve been playing since age 10. Minimum if 4 days a week. Im Now mid 30s). I was once a Bollettieri academy kid. Tennis is a labor of love that is so much dedication, but great therapy. Tennis is truly a sport where you not only try to overcome your opponent, but overcome your own inner demons. Best sport on earth.
