Australians Don't Need & Don't Want to be Welcomed to Their Own Country

If you still call Australia home, then you probably join the majority of Australians in being over the virtue-signalling 'Welcome to Country' ceremonies that are happening with tedious frequency these days.
It was Voice campaigner, Marcia Langton, who promised no more 'welcomes' to country if the Voice was rejected. Let's hope this promise is kept.
This indigenous cultural ceremony is being misappropriated, misused and it's definitely divisive, as Senator Price says.
I call on this parliament and all other parliaments, government departments and local government to stop welcoming Australians to their own country.

Ya know I see ferries going up and down the beautiful parramatta river, and most have an enormous aboriginal flag, a tiny state f,ag, but NO Australian flag. I look at it now and just eyeroll. Do they not realise the vast majority of normal folk are done with this crap. It’s just insidious. I now hate aboriginal art and will wilfully and literally turn away from any massive billboard or shopping advert with anything aboriginal. And all this from a few very evil “ aboriginal “ pigs feeding at the trough with the other bought and paid for politicians. Those in true need are still needing help. Also next year I’ll be very loudly celebrating Australia Day in a high rise very multicultural suburb . No welcome needed for me and mine as being born in Australia,I also am an aboriginal. This is my country of origin.

They're essentially handing our sovereignty to a foreign body, without the express consent of the Australian people, in my opinion, it's no better than treason. Someone like the Senator should suggest to our PM that after the next election he may just be held accountable.

The most significant and entirely Unconstitutional provisions are already in "statute" in Australia under the implementation of the very hostile foreign provisions of the so called "Biosecurity Act 2014 (Cth) which implemented a raft of entirely foreign totalitarian law regulations, such as the World Health Organization International Health Regulations 2005 (International Health Regulations), the World Trade Organization Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures 1994 (SPS Agreement) and the Convention on Biological Diversity 1992 (Biodiversity Convention). It must be remembered that the existing WHO Regulations are already regarded as being "in force" in Australia. The previous raft of WHO proposals in the IHR,s as at 16 April 2103, has operated under colour of law in Australia since 15 June 2007. They went unchallenged. They sailed into law through a Parliament that failed to uphold the most basic and obvious protections of every Australian Citizen, under our Constitution. Let me be clear - NO law exists or can be made under our Australian Constitution which infringes, erodes or denies the full and proper operation of our Australian Constitution and the Inalienable Natural Rights enshrined under it by virtue of the Natural Law Jurisprudence upon which it was forensically drafted. No public servant in Australia has ever been granted any authority over the Inalienable Natural Rights of a single Australian Citizen. That is beyond their reach. Hence why the totalitarians want to blur the distinction between our Inalienable Natural Rights, and the cheap fake "human rights" which are said to be granted by the government and can be infringed, eroded on denied by the government. If you do not understand your true rights under the Australian Constitution, then you can not protect yourself. All Australian laws are "subject to the Constitution". Australian Constitutional law is unique, and foreign laws or treaties do not operate in Australia without being adopted by our Parliament. This current Biosecurity Act purported that the Director of Biosecurity and the Director of Human Biosecurity could make legislative instruments (law) from 16 June 2015. That is , non elected public servants in the executive are purportedly granted law making powers. There is no effective remedy for any Australian to protect themselves against blatantly unlawful and criminal acts by government, unless you are competent in the basics of your own Australian Constitution. The Act may be triggered anywhere in the World by one United Nations ideologue perceiving something that MAY constitute a "risk". A person with a mild temperature; a person who faints; a person who suddenly dies of an undisclosed latent heart defect. That would all be grounds to trigger our Biosecurity Act. The existing IHR's only "competent authority" to identify a "risk" are their own experts. They are the only "competent authority", to dictate what happens on Australian soil. The Definitions are so ridiculously wide they are naught more than a "feeling" of the mere possibility of the potential for what some fool considers might be a "risk". The meaning of the phrase "event" and "infection" and "disease" need not even be contagious and includes a "disease" such as a "medical condition",that is wide enough to be a broken leg ! My personal favourite is the definition of a highly invasive unwanted medical examination, which would be a criminal bodily harm under Australian criminal law. The "IHR's" purport to disqualify from the definition of "invasive", things that are entirely invasive and absolutely prohibited under Australia's criminal laws. They even purport to have authority to conduct a "medical examination" including a criminal invasive medical procedure with a puncture or incision of the skin or insertion of an instrument or foreign material into a body cavity" on an Australian citizen on their own soil ! A CRIME in Australia. This is blatantly Unconstitutional, and acting on this CURRENLY EXISTING "regulation" constitutes CRIMES if carried out on Australians. They purport to have come into law by operation of this Biosecurity Act, by stealth under s.2 of the Act. However, ONLY the Governor-General of Australia may make regulations per s.645. The "International Health Regulations" issued by the WHO are NOT "made" by the Governor-General until they are given Assent. But even then, they are not lawful if repugnant to our Constitution. It is 531 pages. I doubt the government even read it. All involved in failing to pull Australians out of harms way with this existing IHR should be charged under the Criminal Code (Cth) with conspiring to defeat the Australian Constitution, and as accessories before and after the fact to the many crime committed during the covid hoax. If you are a member of the United Nations, these Regulations ARE BINDING ON YOUR COUNTRY according to the totalitarian foreign laws under which they were drafted. Australia can reject them all we like, but the power of the United Nations to hold us to them can involve destroying our entire foreign trade or worse. They DO NOT recognize the Sovereignty of any other Country and the UN considers itself to BE THE SUPREME WORLD GOVERNMENT. Our treacherous politicians and executive and judiciary are on board with it by a vast majority or a complicit majority. This is as it stood, just in time for the Plandemic: Link: www.who.int/publications/i/item/9789241580496

Corporates pick the side that represents the least risk to their billions in profits every year at the expense of consumers on the receiving end of their horrific price gouging. Aussie corporations and their pathetic virtue signalling, while ripping everyone off blind. Coles, Woolies, the banks, Qantas, all rolling in record profit while we suffer hyperinflation, rising interest rates, rising fuel prices, wage depression and a standing government whose policy making is driven by the paltry 30% of inner city wealthy voters whom Labor absolutely recognise as their constituents. Near on the same % who voted yes to the voice garbage, from the same electoral areas are being catered to with Net Zero, the Voice, cheap imported labour and more tenants for a limited supply of housing, record rental prices for their property portfolios (Albo's property portfolio is worth 5 million). The corporates love "the party of the working class".

Thank you Senator Roberts. I would like to add also, that those acknowledgements we are forced to confront on a daily basis, must also go. We're forced to acknowledge "elders" that are not the elders of all Australians, but the elders of a minority who are also immigrants. The ritual is at the beginning and end of every show and event. In the universities, it occurs before and after every lesson, or speech, in every hall, forum or classroom. The message is on television, in the media and everywhere else, and it must go. All bygone elders should be acknowledged in our homes and places of worship. However, publicly, it would be more expedient if we acknowledged none.

A week ago I travelled through the bush in Eastern Victoria, and noticed that every square metre of the wild mountainous area was labelled as XXX country. I have never seen any aboriginal living there, and can someone answer how the tribes who had no written language can suddenly have place names? With roughly 200,000 people spread throughout Australia it is difficult to imagine why every square inch of the country was home to a tribe of people, and even more weird is why would any of them leave the coast for the desert or the rugged mountains of the Eastern side when fish, shellfish, dugongs, seals, and every other plentiful food would jump into their laps on the coast. We are in the midst of a massive con job which is being perpetrated by seemingly everyone (except thankfully the intelligent no voters)

It drives me crazy that I need to sit through "Acknowledgement of Country" propaganda for every major meeting at my work. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. They "encourage" staff members to prepare an enhanced "Acknowledgement of Country" which discusses how they can personally attribute their life to something related to the Aboriginal culture and "Encourage" staff to take turns delivering this rubbish at meeting commencement. They also provide courses for how to write said statements. We even had one of our non-Aboriginal group heads stumble their way through their AOC as they presented it in the Aboriginal language. They sounded like a condescending idiot.

Well said, you would have the majority of Australian people agreeing with you on this BS subject. I for one am so sick of this welcome to country clap trap, I was born here why should people welcome me to me own country…… I just walk away or put my head phones on and listen to something worthwhile. You can’t change the past, but you can move forward as one nation in the future. (Not that idiots recent yes to the voice vote)

You are speaking for the majority about the obnoxious "Welcome to Country" and the need to give it the boot.
