Speaking Austrian and German for a whole day...

I moved to Austria in 2019 and thought it would be a decent idea to speak some German into the camera.

I love it so much, how your pronunciation is switching between a typical foreigner lost in learning german (there's nothing to be ashamed about it, I sound the same in my foreign languages and there not as hard as german😅) and this perfect Austrian dialect😂 It's easy to notice which expressions you learned by heart and which you have to build by yourself😄

Your short movies (i would call them cultural promoting videos) are the best quality I have ever seen, in terms of content, grasping the very unique details of the culture in a way that these episodes are extremely funy and not hurting anybodie's feelings. Really high quality work I would say. The Austrian state should fund you for positivelz promoting their local heritage ;)

Boy, you are doing awsome. You actually can both, Austrian and proper German. The fact that you switching just indicates what Austrian pupils go through when learning both: dialect and Hochdeutsch. Also, i can imagine the emotions for being incomplete in assimilation and integration. I hope you can smile about it. You must have had a good experience otherwise you wouldn’t try. I come from Austria not far where you are and lived abroad in France and England for many years. Your videos are fun
