I really don't think they ever really tested this. Nocturnus was nerfed back then for having a terrifying combo string, then they gave the rework a terrifying combo string.

Just for a reference: when “top ranks in ranked” server was a thing (it’s probably still is? Not sure) they straight up admitted about not caring LIKE AT ALL about balancing abilities. It’s not that you “I don’t think they…”, no, they straight up do this intentionally. If it’s something bad, then more likely AUT devs are doing it intentionally.

Theres a combo that literally includes all half of his moves, you need atleast 80-100 heat to pull it off. Offstand E, E, G, R, Offstand G, Offstand Y. Half these work because G makes all your moves have soft ragdoll😭, you can technically Use T to do the combo again.
