In my opinion, this is the best review of Autel Evo 2 Pro I have watched so far. I particulary apppreciated when you underline that this model has both 60 fps frame rate at 4K resolution and at the same time ten bit color depth and log profile, while in an Dji enviroment these features are split between Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic Pro 2. Thanks for your professionalism.

Great video for those that want to see what this OUTSTANDING drone is about! Fantastic job brother! I have been flying drones for over 3 years and never owned a DJI because of the horrible customer service and the baby sitter geofenceing. This was my first prosumer-professional drone and I couldn't be happier! Autel nailed the needle with a 50lb sledgehammer when they came out with this drone. Man u did a excellent job ,nobody could have did it better. the evo2 pro is top dog .There is no dji drone that can touch it right now. The dual stability is untouchable. it fell like the drone is floating,and makes the footage smooth as butter. Again great job my brother.!

I just came upon your channel today and I have to say that you did an outstanding job on not only this video, but on a couple others of yours that I've had a chance to look at so far! I also have the Version 1 of this drone which I bought about a year ago and had very little opportunity to fly it so far due to work issues and moving out of state. Now that I am retired and all settled into my new home & life it is Drone Time. I always wanted to get the Smart Controller for this drone, but they only made 500 of them before the company had to change chip manufacturers and they were nearly impossible to find. After much searching I finally found an online dealer that still has some stock of the Version 1 Smart Controllers. Mine is being delivered tomorrow and I can't wait Watching your videos about this drone has been really helpful in bringing back all of the things I forgot about this drone over the past year of not flying it. Thanks again for taking the time to produce and post this helpful video!

Very, very well done. I've been on the fence between this drone or a Yuneec hex. Hands down. The Autel Evo2 is it. The DJI drones don't cut it around here with the overbearing geofencing and constant updates. My son in law bought a Phantom 4 and can't fly it unless he's out to sea. One day it would arm the motors and the next day not working. He's very frustrated over it.

I'm an old time RC guy who now flies quads. I have many quads and helicopters so I have a lot of lipo batteries to maintain. I got in the habit of only flying till the battery is around 50% or 3.8V - 3.85V per cell (without a load) so I don't have to worry about how long I will store them. Batteries do last longer if they are balanced, stored at the proper voltage and temperature. Some of my batteries are over 8 years old and still pack a punch. I keep about 3 batteries per model. On this particular model you can set the first voltage warning to 50%% so you know when it's time to land and throw in another battery.

You know I was thinking about getting a drone for about a year and I finally decided to get the Autel Evo 2 6K Pro vs a DJI. Yup, went in big too with the rugged kit with the extra batteries, etc. Looking forward in learning how to fly it and take excellent videos and pictures with it. Thank you thank you thank you for this video!! I needed this tutorial. It’s the best by far for this drone. I have the Mavic Air 2, Mini 2 and the Evo II Pro. This one by FAR is my favorite but learning the options takes time. DJI is getting too involved with geo fencing and thinking about getting rid of them but thankfully I got this Evo when I got a great deal. Didn’t really want to stray away from DJI’s comfort operations but now glad I got it.

Without a doubt, the best video for learning how to operate and control the EVO 2. Believe it or not, I struggled with setting the SD card incorrectly assuming it would default as the primary storage if it existed. However, Xavier does what nobody else does clearly - including the #$&*%$ manual at 17:41 --- THANK YOU, XAVIER.... I learned so much from this video!

Finished watching the video in its entirety and I swear totally feeling the same thing! Selling my Mavic 2 Pro that drown feels like a yawn compared to the evo 2 pro so stoked I got one. Mavic 2 Pro is dated and feels that way to me when flying it won’t miss it. Totally new to Autel but already digging the entire experience. Precision mode is badass and haven’t even tried the other mode u suggested yet. The image quality for still is killer too. I’m going to be doing lots on this drown too excited someone else is psyching on it! 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🧡

Amazing video dude, thanks for this! I just bought this drone for my start up aerial photography business. I didn't know about the scroll wheel being tappable, I was using my finger on the screen. The wheel is much better and more intuitive. This video was super helpful! Subbed!

Your videos are always informative & helpful. This video does the best job of showing the features of the Evo 2 that I've seen. The range tests and videos showing one feature in depth are good, fun to watch, but this video teaches the Evo 2 owner how to get the most out of the drone beginning now. Lots of useful information. One of my favorite features of my Evo 1 is the ability to take photos while recording video. Is that possible with the Evo 2? Great video showcasing the Evo 2. You are a favorite of mine! Thanks!

Menus are WAY better than DJI ( im a P4 pro guy) PS: Those Apache cases are great - I have Pelicans for my most precious gear, but for a drone or GoPros (stuff I'm much more like to destroy when it's NOT being stored), I wouldn't spend 3x the money for slightly better latches.

Excellent and thorough video Xavier! Great point about the Evo 2 combining the best features of the Mavic 2 Pro and the Phantom 4 Pro with the possible exception of the mechanical shutter on the P4. Not sure how relevant that is if not mapping though and even then; certain kinds of mapping. Good Job!
