Thank you for sharing. I made these today. As I grow older I've been trying to find and replicate food like my croatian grandma used to make. I believe she lived closer to Hungary, and these are nearly perfect. I will forever remember this recipe.

This is not semolina but whole wheat flour

Nope, it's semolina 100%, you can't make such dumplings with flour...

@@VagoniusThicket semolina is durum wheat flour. She is not wrong. If you try to make these with wheat or regular flour, it is too fine. Semolina is best.

It IS SEMOLINA. It’s wheat alright but not so fine. Flour would be impossible to make into Grieß dumplings. One of the yummy childhood dishes from my childhood in Vienna
