The Malay word “rindu” means to miss something. So “rindu nasi lemak” would mean “missing nasi lemak”. It’s a feeling that most people from Malaysia, or who have visited get from time to time. The most potent would be at Hari Raya or Eid, where most Malays would say “rindu kampung”. Some Hari Raya songs would make them teary at that time 😢

Yumm!! i think that nasi goreng was nasi goreng daging merah.. fried rice with red sauce beef.. n its not spicy.. n that's a southern thai specialty.. if u have any chance to go to southern thai.. just go.. espescially to Pattani.. its a huge city and used to be a islamic sultanate country.. u hardly see women without hijab there.. which amazed me a lot when i was there.. and beaches in Narathiwat was amazing too... no half naked sunbather.. no booze.. very islamic place.. n best kept secret too..
