I remember a beginner video (I can find it and share if you want) where Geoff Hohwald said that playing with drive can happen when you're locked into good timing, and doesn't necessarily require speed when you're just starting. That's been comforting... and a great perspective shift for me! 😅 And thank you for these new roll patterns... it's an exciting new world they open up! 🎉

This video is very helpful for me, because sometimes when trying to arrange something (e.g. Across the Universe) I'll use a pattern and doubts will pop up and say, "That's not a ROLL! That's just something you made up." Well, next time those doubts pop up, I'll show them this video.
