Growing up there was an excellent Mexican restaurant near us. They made nachos the old fashion way with each chip having a little refried beans, cheese and jalapeno pepper then broiled. With salsa to dip on the side. So much better than a big pile of chips.

Tortilla chips with cheese and/or jalapenos are nachos Those on this video would actually be panchos (bean and meat of choice topped with melted chese and jalapenos)

There a few places that still do that inuse beans meat cheese and melt cheese serve with salda and dips people say that not a nacho but after they tried them wanted more i lived in el paso texas we served them the right way

I'm with Julia Becky Susan 🤣 about the candles. Roommates should not have their air quality affected by another roommate. I have a neighbor 2 streets away here in Yucatan, Mexico- I absolutely do NOT recommend moving to Mexico for anything over 3 or 6 months. Anyways guy burns chemicals, plastic, trash, etc. At least several times a week. Sometimes rooms in my house have the smell- even with the windows closed. Most times when this is going on you can't go in the yard. I've talked to this person twice, including yesterday. Pointless. Been looking for a place for months. Places found too small, etc. That said sorry you lived in this nightmare situation. From the way you describe things you definitely shouldn't have moved in there to begin with. But you probably were desperate and thought you could handle it. I've been there- not roommates but renting places I have red flags/concerns about. It never works out.
