Recently I have changed my bikes air filter and change coolant of my bike at local service center the total labour chagers cost me only 150 rupees but were as In bajaj authorized service center the labour cost of only installing the air filter was 250 rupees and air filter cost was around 250 😂 rup and changing oil labor cost was 500 rupees 😂 and every time they update my bikes ECU my bike get more problems and from that day I never gone to authorize service center and the rating that bajaj service center got on google was 2.5 ⭐️ by 450 people

Air filter change, oil change .... I'll say all silly changes and repairs do it on your own, authorised service centre I only use for engine repair like pickup disk change.... And minor/major changes/repair only at authorised service centres... 10 years on my 220 still no issues... All parts are genuine bajaj

Best thing to do is buy genuine parts from service centre and do the rest at your local trusted garage in front of your eyes.

This is very true, usually I believed that service centers just replace the parts wo repairing manufacturers make profit mainly on spare Parts, but as you said local mechanics don't know the intervals & read the manuals, so they often spoil the mechanism which has happened to my avenger 220 bike after servicing though various local mechanics...Nonetheless any of them fulfilled the requirements.

I am from Dehradun and own xpulse 200.. believe me the service centre mechanics dont know how to repair xpulse 200, only few mechanics in selected workshops know the xpulse as of 2021. Surprisingly i learned how to repair my bike and i work with my local mechanic and do the service, engine maintanance and other things. I am using Motul 300v which is far far better than the hero engine oil as of my experience

मेरा इस लाइन में 45,46 साल का तजुर्बा और मैं two wheeler, four wheeler सभी गाडियां का service centre और local mechanic में करवा चुका हूं और बहुत कुछ देखा हूं। इसलिए local mechanic सबसे अच्छा लेकिन उसके लिए यह जानना जरूरी है कि कौन मैकेनिक अच्छा है और हमेशा उसी से servicing करवाना चाहिए और मैकेनिक के साथ कभी भी मोलभाव नहीं करना चाहिए और हो सके तो कुछ ज्यादा amount दे दिजिए।

Mai nahin manta bhai. Humara yahan ka sabse bada local mechanic shop mai gaya tha. Woh log parts bhi original lagate hain. Lag bhag 80% BS6 bikes ka parts bhi mil jate udhar. Hal hi mai hi mere bike my acceleration delay ka problem aye the. Woh log ne bola Fuel pump mai garbar hain dealer mai dikha lijiye. Dealer mai dikhaya toh race cable tight kar diya aur problem bhi solve ho gaya

I gave Jupiter to local mechanic for full bore. Initially he said service charge -2500 U can bring spares. After I gave my bike and I asked him to write in paper the list, he refused and told me go and call me I will tell him. He gave components cost of -14,000 in which clutch assembly and clutch dome cost -5000 which is unnecessary. He convinced me and I purchased and got scammed. After I gave spares to my mechanic he increased his charge to 3500. Better to give engine half bore or full bore to showroom only.

Bro even dealership mechanics dont use torque wrench, filler gauge, vermier calliper for clutch play, and as oer my expirence they dont have knowledge in ecu scanning so i never trust dealership mechanics also they say ' Yes gadi me yesa hi hota he ' and negket our problems so better download service book for your motorcycle buy torque wrench and other maintainance equipments take training and do everything by yourself

I have used as recommended after mart engine oils after completing my warranty my is pulsar 150 2015 model I have used Castrol & Motul engine oils which gradually made my bike engine wear & tear Then after facing the issue I have shifted to Bajaj manufactured 20W50 engine oil in the last service which has totally changed my bike's dynamics this was suggested by my trusted local mechanic Even during days of giving service to authorised dealer service centres I have not got this much smoothness in ride Once you give bike to trusted mechanic continue with him only don't change your mechanic again and again It's almost an year since I have given service still my bike is in excellent condition with 💯 durability with good mileage and pickup as well ❤

I'm ns200 owner I had given my bike service to Bajaj's authorized service center, that mechanic told the problem tappets of the bike are loose, tightened them, so i give him for adjust tappet after service i take my bike and go on next day my village after 16-17 km i take rest and check my bike Tyre air pressure and i saw engine oil leak from engine head cover i call service center and they blame me for this reason bcz i don't add that tappet adjustment in service list after that i complain in bajaj after 1/2 hrs they call me and say bike bring to service center they check my bike and the mechanics who service my bike is he used to hammer to tight bike head bolt and all bolt and engine head cover are get damage mechanic and owner of showroom blame me he show me service records of my bike and say you last 3 service don't did from authorized service center and then they use many bond and threads on bike engine head and give me bike after 12 km my bike engine get seized due to low oil and used of many bond 😢

Sir Mera experience service center ka Mai ne service centre se piston kit,valve , roller etc pura new change karwaya 2 months pahle. Lakin Mera problem solve nhi hua. Wo log parts ka Paisa lete hain. Par parts change nhi karte hain. Tvs ntorq. 12000 kharch Kiya mai ne Kal mai ne local machanic ko problem btaya. Usne half engine khola. Usme mai ne dekha ke piston kall ho chuka tha. Piston pura loose the Mobil a Raha tha piston mai. Valve se petrol leak kar raha tha. Roller pura kharab ho gaya tha. Time change khrab tha. Ye sab sirf 2 month mai. Phr local machanic me 3900 mai Sara kaam Kiya mere samne.

Bro, I'm using TVS Raider. I've done my 1st paid service from a trusted local mechanic and used Motul 5100 semi synthetic oil. My running is 11,200km till now. The next service is around 12,000km and the air filter, brake shoe, clutch wire need to be changed. I've got good performance from this engine oil. But I want to do the next service from the service center and at the same time want to use the Motul engine oil. What should I do so that my warranty doesn't get void? Please reply

Clean and lube the chain properly and adjust the tightness of the chain accurately. Or else WD-40 will also work fine. Just spray WD-40 in the whole chain including the front sprocket. I have also faced this same problem in my RS200.

bilkul sahi Kiya hai. use 10w40. even 20w 50 is great if you rev hard. change oil after 10000 kms when you use 7100 motul. thou they ask you to do it by 6000kms. keep cheking your engine oil.

Part sharing is good for bikes. I've Xtreme 200s and unfortunately I'm unable to front disk brakes neither in service centre nor in local market. When I open and check it the same used in TVS Apache.
