I have written to my local authority to tell them that I want a full invoice breaking down their charges. For policing, I haven’t seen a copper on the beat in years, we don’t even have a police station so they can reduce the charge for that. Waste disposal I can get done properly by independent contractors so there is another reduction. Basing charges on property values is ridiculous. If I pay more than my neighbour do I get more police coverage, is my waste collected more frequently? Is it buggery. Provide a proper invoice and I will pay the price agreed. But no election means no representation so no representation equals no tax.

I did this in 2020...phoned the manager of the council tax dept and queried all of the above. He hung up on me and refuses to talk to me to this day, so I haven't paid the bill in 4 years. However, the benefits I am on happily deduct the money to pay it, without my consent or any discussion with me!!! All are in collusion with the guvment...facism, maybe, communism, maybe...neither ends well mate!!!

I was the only one in my workplace of 50 who refused it. The owners sent out memo ordering staff not to bully those choosing to opt out, which was great, or I would have resigned. I cried when all my family members wouldn't listen, and my brother, who had them all and boosters, is due a major heart op this month after being an avid walker, non-smoker, etc. My sis has taken up smoking one a day, never having smoked before, but many doctors where she works are wearing nicotine patches, as it is supposed to counteract the to x ins? I'm scared for my nephews and nieces and pray it will not affect their fertility in the future or their health in general. Hopefully, humanity learned a lesson... never trust those in authority, especially when they order you to do something they themselves are not experts in. Also remember the government doesn't give a dam about you...follow the money.
