Authority & Power

Power is different from authority. Power is the ability to do something, but authority is the position to rule over the physical and spiritual world, and to control outcomes. God's authority enables us to rule and have victory over all the power of the enemy.
But before we can fully exercise this authority, we must first learn to fellowship with God in the holy place by the blood of Jesus. We need to come before the throne of grace to find mercy and grace to help before we can use our full authority. Our perception of Christ and who we are in him determines our use of the authority that God has given us.
