Your channel has honestly made me feel so at peace my son has autism and is being tested for a chromosome disorder he is non verbal and I just feel like the world is gonna shut him out because to other people he’s silent but with me he tells me all he needs to with his eyes and the love he shows you’ve made me have so much hope that people are gonna be accepting of him Thankyou

I enjoy hearing about Sawyer's hyperlexia, as I was also hyperlexic as a kid. I have found that my hyperlexia transfers over to when I learn other languages. I'm fluent in Spanish reading and am currently learning advanced French. In the future, Sawyer might enjoy venturing into learning a foreign language with Duolingo or the like!

One tool that I've found can help some people with autism is to have a puchball or punchbag in a room that is quiet in the house (quiet for the person in it). It allows them to get their aggression out without hurting anyone. Obviously it doesn't work for everyone on the autism spectrum, but nobody knows until they try it for at least a year (it can take that long for them to get it & see if it works for them). For context, I've grown up around, worked with & volunteered with people on the autism spectrum.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for being willing to share any successful potty training strategies you discover. My son is 10 and we've been struggling with potty training for years. We can't find any info or help anywhere no one will talk about it and actually get angry if asked what techniques they used. This has been one of the most difficult things we've faced in our special needs journey and to know you're willing to share info that could help other families dealing with this is a gift I thank you for!

Lots of therapies! In our state we have to pay for everything, there is zero help from the government. No speech, no occupational, music therapy? I don’t understand why some get all for free and in some other states parents pay for everything and if they can’t afford their kid will stay behind?
