I have ASD as well, and I'm a girl so my family just associates my autistic needs with being picky and overreacting all the time. It's hard for me to live, I feel misunderstood every day and like a broken human that doesn't work right. But you made me feel so valid and reassured. I felt like I could be myself for 20 minutes, and just trust you, you seem like the kind of person you can trust. I love your cat, your hair, and the hiragana character in your name. Thank you so much for this.

Same here! Coming from a 19 year old, highly functioning autistic girl, I was misdiagnosed for a long time and also just made to feel guilty for being a bother and “dramatic”. I completely understand how misunderstood you probably feel and I’m so sorry, just know there are more of us out here and we have our own little family that understands you’re not overreacting, you’re just most likely overwhelmed..

I hope you're doing better! My cousin who has ASD had a rough time growing up too but she has a great life now. Still misunderstood from time to time (especially by strangers) but she has some great friends and family, including myself, who absolutely love her. I wouldn't want her to be any different. She's kind, empathetic, honest, trustworthy, silly: all the stuff that makes an amazing person imo. You can build your life the way you want it to be as an adult. You can surround yourself with people who love you just the way you are :)

At 27, I received a late diagnosis for autism at the beginning of 2020. I really like how you kept the lights off to avoid any light sensitivity, and I especially liked how you provided explanations for the candles and the cats to maintain the focus. I particularly have difficulty organizing abstract concepts for concrete comprehension; something doesn't correlate or translate. What usually results is a very panic-stricken me. I've been advised to look into mindfulness and exploring areas where I can slow down and not force my brain to rush so much so that I can better adapt should my routine be compromised. Being able to simply count cards in a quiet and subdued environment gave me so much joy and relief. Now I can put this one when I need a moment to reset mentally and avoid a meltdown. Amazing!

I love this so much and I can totally relate to this as well because I’m on the autism spectrum and I often get misunderstood socially by people or people don’t understand how I feel sometimes this video makes me feel like I can be understood and heard as someone on the autism spectrum and I love all of your videos they make me feel happy and I feel like I can truly relate to them as well
