Just a correction in my own video: SARS did in fact, disclose the movement of the deadline to 24 October 2022 on a Government Notice, but the notice is dated 3 June (today is 2 June) and they haven't updated their website to reflect the details of the notice in laymen's terms.

i was automatic assessment i just got an sms on Sunday saying Notice issued on SARS eFiling IT34. i havnt approved anything. this is the first time ive ever had it done automatically

I filed for 2022 only to learn that ,I haven't filed for 2012 and 2018.When I tried 2012 return,it says I must contact the fund administrator

Should I wait for SARS to auto asses me first or file my returns before being auto assesed?

Howzit Andre! Thanks for the upload. Just wondering...I filed my return yesterday, and SARS came back with a "REQUEST FOR REASSESSMENT" What on earth does this mean? And what can I expect from now onwards? Thanks am million!

I have been auto assessed and no returns . Is that possible if i have been contributing for the current season?

Completely possible yes.

I did mine on the app on Monday, 04 July 2022. I haven't received my refund yet. Can anyone explain why?

I've done mine on my the App but it hasn't requested for my approval or if I accept the assessment.

SARS doesn’t offer that functionality anymore. If you want to accept the auto assessment, you do nothing.
