I dont there's a pool of units. I think it's rng each time. A pattern i do notice notice is that the rarer units appear the higher your rank.

How do say one 2 cost 2 star compare in power to one 5 cost 1 star?

Sometimes it's better to use the 1* 5 cost unit

At #14:58 , there are 6 goblins on the board, but the synergy icon shows only 4/6. Same with Mechs, there are 5 on board, but the synergy icon shows 3/4. Please explain. This thing happens in my games too.

They have to be different goblins. Using multiples of the same unit doesn't count for synergy
