I am refilling our printers at work, and I see no sense on waiting that long for the ink to go to reservoir from bottle trough the needle. I use a syringe ant is faster and the tank gets full: I make sure.

For my mg series, the ink level will show full level, after refill

If the ink level is lowered, the ink is refilled and the ink is displayed at a low ink level; After the first filling, the printer tells the ink to run out, just press and hold the red button (cancel) on the printer and hold it for 5-8 seconds to continue printing.
