Bangalore has been a welcoming city all along. One can easily manage with many languages. Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, English are among the most used languages after Kannada. Hindi is a third language taught compulsorily in schools along with Kannada and English. The OUTSIDER Noice was not common about a decade ago. As more and more people started settling in Blore, for a good reason, the so called OUTSIDERS started discovering the inconvenience of - Language Barrier - which means they are not comfortable in handling Kannada language. That such problems are common to any new comer in any other city in India or abroad does not seem to be appreciated by the new lot. They are mostly well educated and make a decent living. Good education is suppose to make a person civil. Kannada is the state language that is to be understood and respected. In migration, it is always expected that new comers put up with some inconveniences initially and it is normal. Good to be inclined to assimilate with the local culture atleast at the transactional level. Metropolice is about multi culturism. When understood and managed well it is extremely enriching experience and rewarding to all the communities involved. It is a fact that the Multi Culturism experiment undertaken by the Developed West, by liberalising immigration from other countries, has backfired quite badly when it comes to certain communities which resist assimilation and insist on seperate identity for the purpose of preservation. Not being anti against any community here, but just sighting an example. In Blore most families have their culture and language which is different from that of Kannadiga. Over decades they are as much Kannadiga as anybody else. They are indistinguishably assimilated. Unlike most states in India, Karnataka is most diverse one in every aspect. It is like mini India in the sense of being a melting pot of diverse cultures since ages. In Mangalore, a city in Karnataka, there are 5+ languages spoken. They are almost used interchangeably in daily life everywhere. Kannada is not the mother tongue for most. Most people use atleast 2 - 3 languages. The harmony is perfect and difference is indistinguishable since centuries. Surely one language i.e. Kannada works in all occasions. Hindu is a religion of tolerance? Are Hindus really tolerant? Not to bring intolerance to Karnataka. Stop seeing oneself as an outsider if one is a newcomer. If one is so toxic then please donot come to Karnataka and instead find a place that is to one's liking. Do not spoil the image of Bangalore and Kannadigas. Karnataka has always been safe and peaceful state. Let it remain so. India is a great country. Not to spoil the idea of India using narrow perspective. Bangalore Auto drivers need to be oriented. They ought to learn some manners… They don’t want to use 3rd party apps, they do not want to come and pick from the exact location, they want you to pay only by cash, and what not. Out of 15 auto rides I take in a month, I face some or the other problem with at-least 7-9 rides. Can the media check what was his rating. My experience is that too less rating means, without hesitation cancel immediately and give no time for them to move. By and large low rating, means trouble and high rating is very good. I have had pleasant rides always with highly rated drivers. So many times auto drivers cancel our bookings on their own especially if they listen to our drop location. First thing they ask cash or wallet money ... if its cash they proceed with d call n come n pick u else booking is gone down the drain . Ppl dnt take bookings even if thr r autos in d location if the location is fr shorter route like 2 or 3kms .

Sir as a rapido. Uber. Ola. Namma yari customer I am telling you this auto driver's cancelled my many rides after knowing destination location can we scold or talk like that. One day I came from my hometown in the midnight the actual price from kbs to Kalyan nagar it's showing 380rs and I told driver I'll give you 500rs but still once I said my destination location 7drivers cancelled my ride and because of this I paid 800rs for cab is it is fare what they did. We are not going for free of cost we are ready to pay but they are taking advantage of situation and demanding more than actual price and ofcourse 100 or 150rs not bothering us but they will demond us for thousands this is the fact this people doing.
