With aprilia price was very high and availability was a problem. Hero has none of that two.

Corner Bending lights axed 😮. It's a shame. Weren't very useful but I was expecting them to improve it. The 160 is a touring scooter and needs to have it!

The Hero XOOM 125 is better than the Ntorq Race XP only in terms of the bigger wheels & chunkier tyres. The Ntorq has a bigger fuel tank, better display, better engine & is 10kgs lighter. Seems like a missed opportunity. The Hero XOOM 160 on the other hand seems like a solid competitor to the Aerox 155. It does have a bigger 7L fuel tank but the weight is significantly higher than Aerox. Almost weighs as much as a 160cc motorcycle! Hero always screws up with the weight, no idea why!

Bro weight doesnt matter ...once u know how to ride .even a 5ft guy with 45 kg cn ride a royal enfield..n seriusly compare with ntorque..big tyre is far more better thn ur 12 inch ...i dont why indian people ahbe only problms..this xoom have listen to many who love big chunky tyres ..i dont know why indian always say speed speed speed..a 125 scoty at a speen of 80 to 100 is never safe .i like this xoom 125 n 160

@pynjop They could have given atleast a 6L fuel tank. Only 5L is not enough as the mileage will obviously take a hit with more weight & bigger, fatter tyres.

good for the college going students but quite impractical for Family man and also x adv is also not practical as the aerox is unbeatable on all aspects be it styling (original) the engine the under seat storage and much more !!!!

Na if it has good or better suspension than aerox good headlights brakes and overall practicality if the fuel capacity is more than it will be favoured over aerox as aerox is not practical for touring but maybe it is

You forgot to mention tyre size of xoom 160 if it is the same as 125 i would probably buy 125 . Since in day n age tyres are way to go due to our metro city infrastructure

Need to see first how it perform in hilly terrain. Compared to other manufacturers the hero scooter failed in hilly areas. Overtaking in hilly it seems a bit risky.

@@pynjop Who cares what I ride. The extra weight and lower power could mean the 160 & 125 would feel sluggish when compared to the benchmarks of their respective segments.

@@snehilyadav629 Well, sure. But if you take the CB300R, it could easily keep up with most 400-450cc bikes due to its sub-150kg wet weight. I wish Indian companies like Hero, TVS follows it's footsteps. Lighter weight is win win for small city vehicles.

@@BrattyBiker I agree. But this is seriously underpowered, like if you compare xtreme 125r and compare it with a tvs rival; raider 125 hero's bike keeps up despite the weight. But I think this time if you compare xoom125r with tvs ntorq it's going to loose.

Hero known for vibration vehicle & unrefined engine. Less Boot space😢, can increase space at boot by keeping fuel tank at floor board & fuel ⛽ filling cap at rear.
