@@rianp1300 chapter 9 gave no problems to me. Trash only needs 4 and boss only needs 5, and it ain't even my most optimized team. My HMS fleet literally saw no use until 10-4.

Bruh if you are watching how to beat 10-4 you shouldn't be a new player. There're lots of other useful guides for newbie from 3c, you should check those videos first. 10-4 is the newest stage (and obviously the strongest) and many veterans struggle with this since EN has limited the level cap and no other mechanics to help the level disvantage.

i defend both sides by saying new players also look at "endgame content" to estimate whether the ships they currently got have endgame potential. Sure, there are tierlists but looking how they perform in the boss demonstration is very uplifting. I would rather have it that gear setups are displayed in main fleet and vanguard fleet columns. Everything else is fine and up to the uploader. Awesome content!

And to answer the actual question...Mob Fleet is: Shouhou Retrofit, Tirpitz, Akashi, Laffey Retrofit, Black Heart. Boss Fleet is: Queen Elizabeth, Hood, Unicorn, Belfast, Leander Retrofit, Edinburgh. Tirpitz is from the current event while Black Heart you can't get anymore as she is from the last event. But she can easily be substituted as she is no top tier ship.

What Emu do you use? I tried both Nox and Bluestacks and they run like shit now. Nox used to be smooth before they removed x32? or w/e it was, but since then nope. And yes, I have Virtualisation on.

Using 2 BB in this boss fight is not the best idea. Use a CV, BB and CVL instead. My favorite combo is: Enterprise, Long Island (Retrofit) and Warspite. Long Island has a very good reload and will sometimes proc her first skill which gives me nice screen clearing capabilities. My vanguard consists of 2 CL (Montpelier and Belfast) and a CA Bremerton (Baltimore is also great). Little Beaver Squad Tag is a MUST because cruisers aren't all that fast on their own and you want to avoid, not tank Jintsuu's torpedoes. If you've ever played Undertale, this boss fight will be extremely easy for you.

How would you go about farming it now that the danger level has been implemented? I guess you could reduce the cost by half or maybe a little more. I still have no clue which ships to use though. I thought maybe amagi and hyuuga would be able to wreck the boss but I don't know about a mob fleet yet. What could anyone suggest?

the boss fleet will still be the same, it just makes escort fleet clearing a lot easier. you can run solo phoenix frontline

Tirpitz can use cl gun as aux gun and her skillset is really good 30% damage up and homing torpedo every 15 sec at max level so she can take out suicide bomb without a problem also she is pretty tanky. North carolina use dd gun as aux gun so she will have hard time killing those suicide bomb and aircraft is not a threat for now

I take it that if this setup can auto 10-4 it should work on the rest of chapter 10 as well right? I'm trying to make as close to a "one size fits all" fleet as possible to reduce the number of ships I have to gear and level.

@@NekosForLife dont think theres a 100% stable way to auto 10-3 boss at first clear. i suggest you manual clear until threat level reaches 0. Then you can run normal HMS fleet with good pass rate.

Probably is because the Battleship nodes, they hit hard and they always hit the Leader Ship, the only way to not get your leader ship killed is killing them before they kill you lol

If there're many enemies on screen (like mobs on ch8 above) I'd rather use a non homing torp for higher dmg and faster reload. If the number of enemies on screen are just 3 or 4 homing is better..

Try farming for shouhou, she drops at 2-2 until 2-4 if i'm not mistaken. She's pretty good after retrofit and on par with unicorn.

Instead of using a Catapult on Shouhou, you should've used an Aviation Oil Tank since it gives that bonus health to the planes. That is unless you already don't have golden Catapults.

Ryusei/Tenzan are good against 10-4 (will auto hit), but don't bring any characters/equipment that can slow down enemies. Because slowing down destroys the boss' rhythm, making Ryusei/Tenzan unavailable to hit.
