I just gotta say this. I've been watching your videos for the last year now and I can't think of a single one where I thought, "That wasn't really useful." I used to look at Ableton's interface and cringe. It looked so intimidating. However, I felt led to get it in Summer 2017 because I knew it was powerful and it would be a good investment in the long-run for my productions. Shortly after that, I found your channel and clicked that notification button without hesitation haha. I say all that to say, thank you for being passionate about what you do and de-mystifying these beast of a DAW to show the true beautiful nature of what it can do.

The OSR circuit option is a state-variable type with resonance limited by a unique hard-clipping diode. The MS2 circuit option uses a soft clipping to limit resonance. you said it the other way around!

For years...I’ve been using Auto filter...and never really knew what i was doing. I had no idea what the envelope was doing or the quantize. I just turned those knobs (or clicked the squares) until something sounded ok...fyi it was never really ok because i did not know how it was effecting the sound, i just noticed slight audible differences per the setting. Thanks!

Yeah, that was the best part! ;) No, I mean the information itself was excellent, very useful, well-structured and illustrated, totally worth the money, fantastic, can't thank him enough. But I kinda had to stick a Post-It to where the puppet is (and I'm also grateful for putting it in a rectangle so conveniently ;-p ), but that still couldn't "autofilter" out those insufferable "eyy"s. (I understand the branding, marketing considerations etc., and I'm sure it works well. I'm just one of those guys from the "but I guess it's not for everyone".)

The fact that you can't see what the band pass is doing when the envelope and LFO are engaged, is so frustrating to me. I'm curious why Ableton didn't make this visual so you could see in real time what was happening. Great video tho.
