Chrysler didn't commission the MS4. PPG actually put up most of the money, but Chrysler had a big hand in the development.

Dodge is a division of the Chrysler Corporation, itself now a division of FCA (Fiat Chrysler America).

Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth... all the same stuff. I've owned a Chrysler Laser Turbo, a Dodge Daytona Shelby and a Plymouth Laser RS Turbo, all basically the same car and also same as the Mitsubishi Eclipse.
