Auto Lift SJ-35 & Dodge Viper wheels

A brief video discussing the new Auto Lift/Tuxedo/Triumph SJ-35 3500lb jack I purchased for my 4 post car lift and unveiling the new wheels for the Dodge Viper. This jack makes working on my 2004 Dodge Viper (Gen 3) much easier and adds an entirely new area of work I can easily do on the 4 post lift that before was limited to my 2 post lift.
The new wheels for the Dodge Viper are BC Forged HB05s with matte black centers and gloss black lips. I had them made in nearly factory specs, 18x10 50.8mm in the front and 19x13 71.1mm in the rear, but still had emergency brake interference. Now that the e-brake was relocated, they fit great and look amazing.

Hey AmbiVe, I reached out to you a few months ago about my 2004 viper. Well the suspension is starting to make a loud popping noise when hitting speed bumps or large changes in travel on the strut. All four of my struts are leaking. The BC coil overs are an easy fix but I’m getting nervous because if it’s tie rods, ball joints, control arm bushings, etc…I cannot find any of those parts for a reasonable price. $900 For bushings. Did the coil overs fix your problems? Do you have any concerns or tricks to finding these parts?

The only issue I had with my BCs is that the recommended settings are slightly too low for me. Hard bumps on the roads can cause it to rub slightly. When looking for parts, I just do my research on the autocross and owners sites. Vipers are extra tricky because so few are actually driven much and so many owners like to brag about parts even if they never use them 😂

Hey man! I just got my BC coil overs. I’m sitting here looking at the shock right out of the box and yeah they look pretty low the strut is 22” long. How far can you lift the strut up and retain safety? Book says the threaded part needs to be at least 25mm threaded into the bottom part. Which seems like not much. Not even fully threaded in. How far did you thread the bottom part on? It came 80mm threaded down right out of the box.

I went basically according to the book and once on the car adjusted the rear up slightly to solve some rubbing in the right rear during really hard bumps with a passenger.

Love the new setup. Transforms the car. What size tires did you go with?

I kept my Michelin Pilot Super Sports with the 275/35-18s on front and 345/30-19s in the rear. The new wheels are 18x10 +51 up front and 19x13 +71 in the rear. There was slightly more room but with how low I run the car at autocross and such, I wanted a little extra room and to be able to use the same tires. I can oversize the rubber if for some reason I just had to have a little more traction patch.
