Auto Lights Sensitivity Setting on TOYOTA HILUX / FORTUNER / COROLLA

Setting your auto lights to be less sensitive to sudden changes in light i.e. driving under a bridge.
I presume it has a longer delay before switching on and/or off.

Hey mate, Thanks for the info, just tried it on mine. Not sure if it will fix my issue as the lights are staying on all of the time, even on auto. I have set it as per your instructions and set it on one. It's a bit dark here now, so I'll see what the result is tomorrow. Hi, thank you for detailed explanation, just tried on my Hilux 2017 GUN125 and it worked. As you said, I had the same issue when driving under a bridge the headlights came on. Now I set the sensitivity to 1, will check whether the bridge issue is solved. Great vid!

It works - Excellent thanks. I have put up with over sensitive auto lights. For over 3 years, as the Toyota dealer was adamant the setting could not be changed! - they don't understand the product they sell.

My auto lights gave me issues today. Went on and basically stayd on. KZbind when i got home and came across this vid. Did the setting and it works on my fortuner, thanx. Now to test the bridge issues lol but the main question is, how did you find out about this!?

Mine are so sensitive it always switch on when I go under trees or bridge and off after passing, making people thought that I was flashing them.

I bet you can pull a fuse. But it might disable other things as well. You can buy a seat belt buckle and just insert it
