blaze burners can be fueled by any burnable material. how long they burn depends on the material. blaze cakes are only needed for the blue advanced heat which is needed for only a few recipes, like you can smelt stones into lava. brass only needs normal heat though, you could have used charcoal

to second htis if you get a lava farm set up with dripstone it should fuel all your needs for lit blazes and then some. Also mechanical arms are very nice for this to put the empty buckets back into the system

Considering the fact that it requires brass in the first place to be able to get blaze cakes (it requires a crushing wheel, which requires mechanical crafters, which requires brass), she probably does know this. Why she used blaze cakes in the video, I don't know.

Pearl you can generate dirt from nothing it’s just a bit complex. First you Ned a stone generator Next you need to push those stones to a moss generator You then need to move the moss into a spruce tree farm that turns the moss into dirt. Boom dirt generator Use the moss byproducts to power a bonemeal farm to power the whole thing.

In Create, you can also automatically craft coarse dirt and convert it, so you just need to supply fresh gravel (which you can get from cobblestone).

it’s probably simpler to make a machine that generates gravel from cobblestone, crafts gravel + dirt into coarse dirt, then plows the coarse dirt into dirt

There's only a tiny tiny tiny handful of recipes that require you to superheat the blaze burner, which is what the blaze cake does. for most recipes you can fuel them with anything that burns in the meanwhile

Hey Pearl! A) get Create goggles and click on the Blaze Burner, it adds the Goggles to the little Blaze inside. (Doesnt "consume" goggles, they simply toggle the goggle effect on and off) Looks SUPER cool, and VERY fashionable! Especially aince you cant wear them youself (unless yall have bauble slots because the goggles are super useful for create stuff) B) you dont need expensive blaze cakes, coal and lava buckets di work as well. Cakes simply last longer and make the Blaze Burner burn hotter which isnt necessary for Brass, it only comes into play when working with Steam Engines for rotational power.

A) -Isn't that feature from Create 0.5.1? They are playing on 0.5.0- According to wiki, it is on 0.5.0... B) I don't think they even last longer, definitely not longer than lava. Lava heats it for 1000 seconds, while blaze cake only for 160 seconds.

It was super fun to see you and Stacy exploring the nether together! The dynamic was chill while also panicking from nether baddies 😂 I also really love the “messy” machine room - it looks really cool and steampunk and feels like a funky workshop. And I think you can use any burnable to feed the blaze, like with furnaces, blaze cakes just last longest I think.

I'm so glad to see Pearl and Stacy survived the nether fortress! It would have been heartbreaking if Pearl lost the copper golem life so soon after getting it back. They are much braver than I am 😅 Also, the green looks so good here? That is such a difficult shade to incorporate into an orange building, but it looks wonderful.

There is a way to get twice as much mud per dirt block in your mud farm. 4 coarse dirt can be crafted with 2 gravel and 2 dirt and then you can use coarse dirt in place of regular dirt. You can get the gravel with a cobble generator -> millstone and then combine it with dirt in a mechanical crafter to make coarse dirt. Also, I believe you can actually automate dirt this way if you hoe the coarse dirt with a deployer.

Pearlscentmoon you should know that if the recipe showing a blaze burner is orange. Wood, charcoal, coal, and other burn-ables are find. You only need blaze cakes when the recipe with the blaze burner is blue.

You... don't need a blaze cake to make brass. Any other fuel works just fine, but it also depends on the burning time of the fuel. What I'm trying to say here is, shove some wood into that bad boy and don't overcomplicate yourself.

I like how Pearl being only a block high really affects her build. For the Create mod build, the house it’s contained in seems pretty compact and tight for someone who’s a normal 2-blocks tall-but for Pearl, it’s plenty spacious. The stairs and head space seem tight, but for a tiny copper golem, she’s got space to stretch.

Hi Pearl for the BlazeBurner, you can just use lava or any other burnable. Be renewable lava is quite easy so a good fuel. Blaze Cake are kind of for very end-game stuff like boiling at max power for the steam engine.

Also for future reference, you can right click on Blaze Spawners with the burners in hand, to grab them straight from the spawner! (which is handy if you want to grab like... a lot of them!)

Honestly, the green looks really good with the orange. Copper does oxidize into the teal color, so there's plenty of opportunity to make some nice gradients. I'd love it if they'd add just the basic bits of the Create mod to vanilla. Just being able to add movable parts to our builds would go a long way in giving them personality and making them feel more natural.

you can thechnically make dirt automatically. 2 dirt + 2 gravel (from crushed cobble) = 4 coarse dirt use hoe on coarse dirt (with deployer) to get 4 dirt. put 2 dirt back in the system and you have a profit of 2 dirt! P.S. this would be quite the challenge to build with create, but it should be possible.

Pearl the blaze cake is only required for super heating the burner. Regular burner recipes will use any fuel source, such as coal. Will save you lots of time and resources

I think the addition of green into your base makes the whole place seem much more lively and appealing. Plus copper oxidises to become a bluey-green colour so I think it’s really in theme with the oranges and earthy colours. Please add more green to the base! It looks absolutely gorgeous! Also I love the little gardens and leaves they’re adorable

There is a vanilla way to make dirt. When you craft course dirt you can place it and turn it into farmland. When you then mine it, it becomes normal dirt. So you're effectivly turning gravel into dirt. I'm sure this can be automated with create.

You actually *can* automate dirt! By feeding some dirt and some gravel from your cobble generator into a set of Mechanical Crafters, you can automate Coarse Dirt, which should work for making mud. Hope this was helpful!

It's been said before, but you only need blaze cakes when the recipe calls for super-heating. Regular heating can be attained with any old regular fuel. Ponder the burner if you're unsure about something, like how to feed them lava!

Pearl!!!! Please dont waste your blaze cakes. Use coal for small things and leave the blaze cakes for when you have to smelt large quantities. The reason it turns blue is because is such a strong fuel.

IDK if anyone's mentioned it yet but the mod that shows all of the blocks (JEI or REI) can sort, search, and filter *by color* to help pick out block pallets with unfamiliar mods. It's advanced functionality that you need to enable in the settings but once you do you can use ^ and type one of the 16 normal colors (ex: ^red or ^brown) like how you sort by mod with the at symbol. Also, using | (shift \) is Inclusive OR to include two tags that would normally be mutually exclusive such as ^red | ^orange showing all red or orange blocks.

If you want you can make infinite dirt it's even using vanilla minecraft mechanics - using a stone generator you make stone that can be converted to moss with bone meal then using either azalea or mega spruce you can convert that moss into rooted dirt or podzol which both can be converted into to dirt. I bet you could use create to make some cool tree moss dirt mega farm.

There is actually a couple ways to infinity generate dirt, the easiest way I can think of being turning dirt into coarse dirt using infinite gravel and hoeing it back into regular dirt although I’m not sure how that could be done efficiently

You have most likely been told a million times in the comments by now but, you dont need to feed it the blaze cakes for "simple" heating. wood, coal and other burnable bits works for normal heat. The blaze cakes makes it heat extra hot (you need that for special things)

I've seen almost everyone on the New Life make this mistake, so I feel like I have to say something now. You can click the spawner directly with the blaze burner and get the blaze into the spawner, you don't have to sit and wait for them to spawn to get them into them.

You can make dirt from nothing! It is just a lengthy process. The easiest way with Create is to make coarse dirt and use the ploughs to turn it into regular, you only need to get gravel then and to craft the coarse dirt but it is a net dirt positive system.

Could you possibly: cobble generator through those crushing wheels to create gravel. then the gravel gets mixed with dirt in a mechanical crafter, the course dirt is then processed with a deployer and a hoe to make dirt. some of that dirt goes back into the mechanical crafter and the rest mixes to mud

a hoe is just a breaking point as it has durability, while a plough is a bit more complex it'll never break!

Pearl, you can generate dirt from nothing! Corse dirt requires 2 dirt and 2 gravel to make 4 blocks, but it can be ploughed to make farmland which is then broken into just dirt, so you get 4 dirt from 2 dirt at the expense of gravel. So a fun challenge is to design a machine that: 1) Generates cobble and crushes it into gravel 2) Autocrafts a supply of dirt with he gravel into coarse dirt 3) Places the dirt (using deployers) and tills it into farmland (using a mechanical plough on a contraption) 4) Breaks the dirt (Using a mechanical drill) and then splits the output to reuse half the dirt Or just make a massive drill and tear up some countryside :)

You can make dirt from coarse dirt. Make the course dirt with mechanical crofters using 2x dirt and 2x gravel. Use a mechanical plough to turn it into dirt and a drill to break it. You get 4 blocks of dirt from it, put 2 blocks back into the mechanical crofters with a stone generator->crushing wheel setup for gravel. Infinite automatic dirt

You can make mud fully automated, cobble gen》gravel》rough dirt》plow it with the plow(place then run plow over), or stamp it into path blocks(press then place on a drill)》drill the dirt, then feed into your mud machine. You will need to loop (round robin tunnel) some dirt back

Pearl, you can get unlimited lava with create if you set up a pump in one of the lava lakes in the nether. if you get a Hose Pulley, (Use a crank to lower the hose all the way down), a water wheel (you can use lava to power it instead of water), a pump and maybe some fluid pipes with a large tank, you can get unlimited lava in the nether. I suggest pipping up the tanks near your portal for easy access or if possible, an inter dimensional item/fluid transport system.
