i think the guy in the video doesn't know. each legionnaire is super buffed semi demi-godlike soldier. and each sister can just have super faith and can trigger their miracle shenanigans against the aliens. You don't need to upgrade anything. you just need to have faith in the emperor and the emperor protects.

I have been subscribed since 2016, I stop watching around 2020 because I thought that his content had changed aiming for a more 'younger' audience. Sword and shield but won't hold the enemy at the choke-point. Archers, but they're not on the walls. Catapults, but they're not on the second wall to fire over the ranks into the breach. Properly positioned and firing in sequence they could crush most aliens in the breach and the frontline troops would just have to hold out against whatever gets close enough that the catapults can't risk firing for fear of breaking the shield wall. Humanity has fallen indeed. Jokes aside, I always enjoy your videos! Sometimes I just wish the game had some more sophisticated ways to use various units but I get that it's just a fun "army murder simulator". The main reason the xenos live is because the CWIS aren't programmed to strafe. They fire an entire magazine to take a line out of the enemy but the enemies to the left and right charge on. If they strafed left to right with, say, 3 of them apiece and a half second of pause inbetween rotations to give the corpses time to drop and enemies time to charge over the fallen, they could probably hold that front almost on their own. Maybe a thousand men positioned to the sides and behind to take out a lucky xeno that gets close enough to avoid losing all of the emplacements to one enemy that managed to get behind their firing arc.

I wish the dev adds an update where swarm-like enemies climb/jump over each other, or able to ram through. Seeing that first contact with the Tyranids, it's a bit anti-climactic seeing that wave just laxly stop in front of the soldiers. Instead of overwhelming the line, jumping over each other, leaping into the soldiers' ranks, or straight-up charging through the first few lines.

Baron, when placing stationary units in UEBS2, be sure to set them to guard mode. Otherwise the attackers will just focus one without the others helping in the defense

shoulda put the C-wiz's inside, so that they had to get through the choke point to just get to the c-wizs. 88's if you were able to put them on an elevated to fire over the walls.. just build a kill zone inside the breach in the wall.

Yea, but the problem is that there is a hole in the wall. Fill the hole in and get cwiz on the walls with archarers and put the roman troops inside the wall. If you can get artillery firing over the walls with high explosives. Yea, that might work better. Anyways, that was interesting.

The fact that you stopped the rain after the first one, seemingly to make flooding not an issue, and then just posted the entire force outside the walls... feels absolutely daft. Take the defensive formation of the first round, turn off the rain, post the CWS on the walls and the battle ends massively in favor of the humans without contest.
