Comparing the JETech Cover vs Apple Smart Cover! [iPad 9th Gen] // Should You Buy Either?

I am very excited about my new 9th generation iPad and can’t wait to review it. However before that I needed to find a case that would allow me to use it safely! Plus it’ll be nice to have a case that’ll let me prop up the iPad without a stand.
Today I’m looking at the JETech Cover and the Apple Smart Cover. There is a massive price delta between the two. So does one justify it’s cost better than the other? I am looking to find out in this video!

I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great kzbin.infoUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.

You aren’t using the apple cover properly when you put it in the typing position.refer to the instructions.

In both examples for the lower keyboard use position, the reviewer kept trying to balance the iPad on the very edge of the triangular point (like logically, who even does that?) and both then dropped back to the correct natural position of a triangle’s side the designers intended and as shown in their instructions and videos. Which he then called “a fail” !!? However, I agree with the conclusion. I had an iPad Mini and the expensive front cover piece is overall a fail for protection. Ordered a JETech full cover case and been happy ever since. Perfectly functional and it has saved my iPad Mini from many accidental drops.

I'm an idiot and didn't know better and ordered the $50. smart cover off the Apple website when I ordered the iPad. It really feels like a rip-off that for $50. you get a thin magnetic flap that only covers the front screen. Luckily I found a silicone back cover on Amazon that will cover and protect the back of the iPad and still works with the smart cover on to cover the front. What a ridiculous design and I can't believe they get away with charging people $50. for this. I should've known when the website only has one small pic of the product and you can't zoom in or get a better look at it. Then again this is the company that charges $20. for a cord or a small USB to Lightning adapter so I shouldn't be surprised I guess.

Ughhh my camera was being horrible about the Mallard Green. It looks way more green in person than it did on camera. Sorry about the color. I tried messing with the settings and just could not get the camera to pickup the right color. I have never had this happen before.
