I genuinely felt like I was watching a series 2 or 3 episode of Top Gear, Rory and the team are great at putting these films together and he is great on screen too. Alex and Taylor are fantastic to watch. Taylor has some James May levels of delivery to camera and his personality shines through. Alex has an amazing team around him and for me, you three are the reboot Top Gear didn't know it needed.

I had a 330ci sport 5 speed manual sold it 2 years ago as wasn't using it and probably the worst mistake I've made as I didn't realize how special it was and how much I miss it. I know this is even more special definitely keep hold of it Taylor.

Absolutely did the right thing. BMW should always be a manual 😄 E46 is my favourite of the range. Growing up in RSA I was always a fan of the E30 325is. So when I had the privilege of driving a E46 M3 it was a dream come true!

Great video , love seeing Taylor presenting, very natural in front of the camera. I have a question about the suspension: Is it ok to run lowering springs on oem standard shocks (such as Bilstein B4)? I've heard mixed opinions on this. First being no problem, great results, such as you guys doing it here and the other point of view saying the shocks are not designed to run lowering springs and so result in poor ride and premature wear.

The 6 speed is literally the same as the 5 but with the 6th gear being overdrive ( with a 0.85 ratio).

I had a D3 biturbo as a courtesy car when I had my E90 and besides the twin turbo at the time I didn't get it. However, in retrospect I really get Alpina... They just take what is a great car and make it eminently more usable on the real world

The way he and Alex always complain about the weather when it's a bit nippy is insane. And still they don't put winter tyres on their cars and just rip it when it's "ungodly cold". I've seen britts not even make it out of the carpark because they didn't understand you need winter tyres around here during winter.
