Taylor's dog - heartfelt condolences (in chorus with everybody else who's watched this vid), but she had a good long life by the sounds of things and you will always have the memories. Rory's out-takes: briliiant. "Can Rory read a script..?" Decades (3) ago I applied for a job with the BBC to be an announcer and had to send in a recording of my voice doing some made-up continuity blurb. This was in the days before internet and digital recordings, so it went on a cassette. HOW much did I practice my cadence and intonation and listen back to my own voice on cassette..? I'm not a naturally fast speaker (blame it on Welsh genes and/or West Midlands upbringing) but I do accents quite well - and this was for a job with the BBC in Wales - so I went through my spiel in archetypal Queen's English and then broke into a genuine North Wales drawl. The Welsh intonation helped disguise some of my natural West Midlander speaking tendencies. I never got any direct feedback, but when I chased them for progress they did say that they were relistening to recordings. Do I think I can read a script without falling over my words? Do I....pause....a lot when speaking? I'll refer to Rory's own answers! What I learned is to avoid talking off the cuff, which also means editing any script to the point where I don't feel impelled to adlib. Credit to you guys who go on these vids and sound 'natural' - I don't think I was ever meant to be a media voice.

Mine was a 2003 ford crown victoria police interceptor. I broke off one of the bolts that holds down an ignition coil, still ran fine. Ran the car through deep water and it DEFINITELY sucked in water. Turned the car off, back on two hours later... still was fine after years. Rusted to hell and back but I sold it years ago.... they had it for a week when the transmission blew up.

I have an Alfa 159 with the 2.4 turbodiesel 5 pot. More than reliable. Only diesel with charm on the 939 platform. The 2.0 is the safest bet, the 1.9 is the cheapest but it has an awful gearbox (M32) compared to the F40 gearbox in the 2.4. Stick cruise control on at 60 and you can fetch 50-60mpg so long as your engine is clean. Petrols, 1.8 mpi is underpowered, 1750 Tbi is cool and a pure Alfa engine, 2.2 is the most common and the 3.2 is cool but it's not a Busso V6 and it's awful on fuel. Alfa's reliability may not be like Toyota but it's unreliability factor is blown out of proportion cos of how bad they were 30+ years ago with rust etc. Absolutely love my 159, it looks the bollocks in any car park no matter what it's next to, it's quick as hell with a map and pulls like a train and makes 5 cylinder noises.

Haha recently in Warsaw, Poland, a clean transport zone was introduced, which make completely no sense as it allows specific cars to enter it based on the car manufacturing date XD so if you have a 2004 E46 diesel you cannot enter, but if you have an exactly same spec 2005 E46 diesel, then sure you can go in. Emissions have no impact, it's all based on the year, so... ULEZ sucks but at least it makes some sense. Also, ULEZ lets you pay for entry, in Warsaw you just can't get in, period. 21:40
