I own both a 2013 Town and Country with the 3.6 engine and a 2004 Panther. Enjoy them both. The 3.6 is known for the “tick.” To repair, it needs cylinder head work. Mine hasn’t had this problem and it does receive regular oil changes.

The tick is the rockers in the motor. It’s a common issue it’s not the heads.

Here in Florida we can register a junk ( salvage ) title vehicle again . First repair the damage that made the vehicle not roadworthy . Then the Department of Highway Safety and motor Vehicles will inspect it . If they deem the vehicle roadworthy again they will issue a rebuilt salvage title for you and from that you can register the vehicle . A lot of paper work but if you don't mind that it isn't hard to get . P.S. here we can even take a junked car with no title like a rusty 34 ford and apply for the salvage title , build the car as you wish , apply and have the car inspected and titled as rebuilt salvage and good to go .

My Grand Caravans have been great. The 3.6 has an issue with lifters sticking. My brother just fixed his a couple of months ago on a 2015 Grand Caravan with about 180K that I sold him brand new.

The 2011 to 2014 Dodge 3.6 engines (I had a 2014) had a problem with the lifters. There was a program where they were replaced at no charge. Had it done and never had another tick. Have had a few newer 3.6 engines since and never had a problem.

The Infinity QX56 is a perfect candidate for export. Once exported it will loose it's junk title. That Crown Vic would be perfect for me. I need to speak to Mark to see how easy it is to import one.

The 3.6 eats cams, I had the 4.0 in my 2008 and it had 300k miles on it when I sold it. Two timing belts and water pumps and a oil pump but other than that just oil changes and coolant flushes. Thing ran great.

Of course the 2011 is have is the 3.6 and it has 280k on it and still runs great had to put a transmission in it a year ago and tipm fuel pump relay bypass but still a great van

The Allante came with a removable hardtop - very cool😎. Almost looks like the dealer took it on trade and it just on the lot until they decided to clean house. You know as frustrated and angry you got with that Mercedes, I don't know if you could handle that old Jaaaag without some kind of mood enhancer.

If the Pentastar is tapping it’s the rockers. It’s a common issue with them. Can be done and reasonable. The 3.6 has the 62TE transmission and I have 203,000 on our 2012.

The 3.6 is rocker arms go bad and eat into the cams. Not a big issue unless it has been ignored and destroys the cam.
