These look really smart but I prefer the bright led lighting when I open my car. I have the auto beam ones 😁 have to say Adam the things you do to your car are awesome I have been copying you. Got mine today, tried to install one and it wasnt fitting in properly, the plastic latch that holds it on was too long, it ended up snapping, so you know iff auto beam will replace it.

Do u turn ignition off after u gwt lenses at angle b4 removing incase mirrors fold in while changing puddle light

Ignition is off, car unlocked and open door and close door again. That will stop the mirrors from folding in and then when you need to get the lights to re-illuminate, just press the unlock button on the key fob

Hey man just bought these aswell and they don't fit. They don't click in for some reason. And because of that the hole for the screw isn't alighted properly and I can't secure the light. Really frustrated with the hole thing because this is my second attempt and getting these RS logo puddle lights fitted. The first attempt was with an order from ali express and I thought it was maybe because I bought it from a cheap site. I hope I can find a solution for that in the future :/

They didn't fit neatly on mine either - I'm returning them, not a clean flush fit, doesn't clip in nor fits with the mini torx screw. Sticks out around the edges.

I tried to fit these this morning to an RS but they won’t fit, seems like the plastic is catching on the corners. I’ve seen a few other people with them not fitting either. To top things off my mirror glass won’t adjust now either. Fitted the Autobeam sequential indicators fine a while back but these puddle lights have not been successful

Only the ford focus with power fold mirrors will have this puddle light. There may be a way to retrofit powerfold, but tbh that would likely be quite expensive and fiddly.
