Thank you for another great tutorial! I've been on the raspberry pi emulation for years but after picking up a few psx classics I have been using it for my go to retro emulator. It is a shame that as good as the hardware is Sony did a crap job with the software. I am happy to pick them up for $20 though.

So, on older versions of Autobleem, PS1 games added into my game folder ran as expected. However, once I update to the latest version, games are no longer showing up on the UI and I'm unable to launch them. When updating, I followed this video closely and only replaced the recommended files. I'm stumped. I've tried multiple USB drives but keep running into the same pattern. Games run fine on previous versions but no longer show up once I update. Has anyone run into this issue? Any suggestions? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I got 1 question MLP, if this is my first time installing Autobleem into my psclassic, can i simply download that 0.7.1 version (that comes with retroarch included i believe) and just drag it to my SONY usb drive and im ready to go?

Okay had this same problem here's how I fixed mine, Reinstall in Flash Drive just delete everything but the Roms and Games folder and Add everything from the Autobleem 0.7.1 folder. Good Luck!

Hey man! Greetings from Colombia. Great videos! However, I wanted to ask you a question. I'm suffering for brief freezes in autobleem when browsing the games. When in the selection menu, when I go from one game to the next one, autobleem freezes for like one or two seconds. Sometimes it happens for the whole game list. I've installed OTG support from Bleensync following the instructions in one of your videos. I'm using a 64gb 2.0 FAT32 Maxell thumbstick. I'm also using the same OTG cable as you (I've got the Amazon link from your description) I haven't found info on this issue yet. So I wanted to know your opinion on this. Have you experienced the same issue before? What do you think it could be? I'm using the latest full version of autobleem without retroarch. Thanks in advance man. Keep on with the great work! Hi man, I forgot to mention that also sometimes games take a huge time to load and when they do the also freeze at regular brief intervals of time. They just play like intermittent. Both issues I've just described usually happen when the system has just booted. After some minutes, like 5 or so, the system starts working just fine. Damn this is sweet. I had two questions though. Can you do save states with everything that isn't PS1 games? I heard that it's still only PS1 titles with AutoBleem. Is there really any point in having the SNES Classic now that you can do all this to the PS Classic? What are your thoughts?

Yes you can do save states on older consoles games. I see no reason to buy any other classic consoles at this time.

I have the Christmas build of Autobleem and are looking to upgrade. If i drag and drop the files on a windows machine and hit replace, won't to remove all of the games and save game files that are already on the USB stick? Is that the expected behavior and then you just have to re-drag the games back into games/ROM?

Followed this and could only access the built in 20 games from autobleem main menu. I knew the games were still on the USB and could see them when I re-scanned from the main screen and could access each individual one by selecting SQUARE to enter Retroarch and then accessing the game manually and then selecting a "core" to run it. I deleted the SYSTEM folder on the usb, put it back in the ps classic and re-scanned and now all of the games/covers are displayed along with the built in 20 from the main autobleem menu. Anyone know what I lost by removing this folder/directory? I can't see anything that is missing yet but I saved the file on my computer and can re-add it if necessary.

This is the second time this week my data gets corrupted. It sucks because the only way to fix it is to format the micro SD and copy everything again from scratch. It sucks because any progress you make in any game gets lost. I still haven't figure out how to prevent this from happening.

Rudy Cerda Mine did the same thing, it scanned the games on my USB but the only games that showed up was the originals that came with it.

Gotta have python and run the script. Have all your roms in a folder/directory for whichever system you are creating the pack and it parses them making sure they are the correct roms and places them accordingly in proper folders.

I only had the games folder on my USB so if you have retroarch games too only keep your “Roms” & “games” folders Delete everything else Then download the AUTOBLEEM 0.7.1 and copy over every folder from this new download EXCEPT “ROMS & GAMES” folders since you only have those two left alone on your usb. Once everything is loaded in, refresh the USB by right clicking and selecting refresh Then eject the USB. Plug it into your PlayStation without the power cable in Then put the cable in and let the USB flash a bit and the power button on the classic flash orange Then press the power button Select settings Make your UI the evolution one “WWE reference 😏” Then press X to scan games Then press START If the games don’t show PRESS SELECT ON YOUR CONTROLLER TO CHANGE THE GROUPING CUZ for me it was on “Internal” then pressed SELECT it changed to favourites then again it changed to USB then again it was ALL which includes internal too LET ME KNOW IF ALL FAILS! YOUR GAMES WILL SHOW UP ON RETROARCH AND YOU CAB RUN THEM THERE NO ISSUE BUT TRY MY WAY FIRST 😊😊😊

And again make sure in your games folder once you only have that on your USB and nothing else unless you got Roms go into the games folder and delete your game saves and memory cards and make sure before you update your auto bleed to delete everything except your games folders and Roms which means keep your games and ditch everything else and then copy the updated folders over to your USB EXCEPT THE ROMS AND GAMES FOLDER CUZ YOU DONT WANNA LOSE ANY GAMES 😊

Unless YOU KNOW what you're doing, to a T, it is the absolute worst nightmare on the face of the planet, which is why majority of people just do not bother with doing any builds on a USB for the PlayStation Classic. A handful of people do, and another handful of people download them, but that's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
