Mate i wish i have of came across this before i learned most of the basic stuff by trial and error, took me almost 6 hours of agro trying to work out how to make a hole through a 3d box. Now its piss easy lol Well done mate top vids...!

This is the first video that you've mentioned you were right handed, so when you mention your "index finger button" hopefully everyone else was right handed too. Obviously somebody left handed (with their mouse set up for left handers), there may be some confusion. Nice tutorial though! By the way, it helps a lot when you tell us what the command line says because it is a little hard to read. :)

try using trim or break... if object is made of polylines then try explode or look in the help section on object selection
