14:00 You are not locked into that axis, you just have to hit TAB to allow you to switch to the polar angle and you can swap back and forth to specify any changes you want before confirming the second point. So you can, for example, type 100, hit TAB, type 45 for 45 deg, then hit TAB, edit it to 95 if you suddenly realize you want 95, tab back 24 deg, etc. Its not locked in till you actually click the second point down. Give it a try because it makes things way less rigid, this also applies to autodesk inventor and other 3D CAD packages, on almost any tool with multiple input types. Edit: Ah okay you go into this, fantastic! I had thought you might have left it out to not being confusing for beginners which I think would have handicapped them a bit in the speed department.

Hello Hamzeh! That shouldn't happen if you insert that coordinates. Are you pressing TAB to switch from Xcoordinate to Ycoordinate?

What units should the file be set up in in order to complete the exercises you have provided?
@CADinblack4 жыл бұрын
In the exercises you can just use the units that you want. The intention was just to practice basic drawing skills, regardless the units. Thanks for watching.
@mariatevyants39284 жыл бұрын
@@CADinblack I understand that but the exercises have specific dimensions (for example, 20), and if I do not set the appropriate units and type in 20 when drawing the line, the line ends up being the wrong size....
