In my autocad line command is not being able to track along the previous line like you do in making chajja "0.1". Using Line command, i can only track in free space. What may be the reason for this issue. Can anyone answer?

Make extension object snap on.

Iam unable to draw chajja in 0.1 distance it's not showing any tracking ...tried many times.

object tracking is on but still, i was unable to draw since it was tracking the nearest point.So, I went to object snap settings and unchecked the nearest option.Now problem solved.Thank you

Nearest object snap is very problematic. One should avoid to keep it on in automatic object snap mode. Whenever required one can use it by shift + right click manually.
