Ahh yes, I remember hearing about this a while ago. Glad you finally got around to uploading this.

Does this only work if you have 2 trash truck filmers in the same company and a city full of 60s and 30s? Also how are their backs not broken?

Recyclable material is pretty light so these cans are easier to pick up than they look. And yes I think this can only happen with filmers/enthusiasts

Crazy way to work. No gloves, lifting big bins designed for auto pick up. Your body cant take this for very long…😢

Did these guys do this as a joke or something? Super neat seeing this collection style brought back to life when comparing it to that documentary footage you showed at the beginning. That clip at the end really proves how much easier we have it now that automated collection is becoming more of a common choice for consumers, the exhausted faces say it all!!

Just for fun lol. Yeah this was much more common in California before automation. Plus manual side loaders, which no one uses anymore…

I remember reading one of your essays a few years back. Went to high school with you. What are you up to now? Any plans on law school?
