Excellent choices. I would like to add Maruti Suzuki Ignis as a value for money city car. Great engine, good stability, hardly any body roll. Personally I have both Tiago and Ignis but Ignis within city is better and Tiago on highways is better.

Poor crash test safety rating, small fuel tank of 32 litres and rear shape were some reasons for dropping Ignis and preferring Tata Punch. Maruti parts quality has also deteorated over the years. The gear lever knobs of my 2 Dzires crumpled, rear plastic door handle broke, suspension gives up at about 50k km...Service centres fleece you.. just my observations, drove and owned nothing but Maruti in last 30 years

@@vipulgoelcs which city do you live in .. I am from Kolkata and traffic is quite heavy here.. avg speed is approx 20-30 kmph during peak hrs. But prompt start , good pick up from 0 is a good to have. In this low speed safety is not a big requirement. But small and compact and with good mileage is more preferable..

@@phanindra40 well.. to be honest reliability, economy is on one side and safety is on the other side. If your car usage is not that frequent and highway usage is more than city usage go for an ultra safe car from house of Tata. But if you are relying on your car for your daily commute then you will perhaps feel the pinch in your pocket due to the high fuel usage and maintenance. Then probably a car high on economy is preferable. So all depend on your lifestyle and preferences!!

Using altroz bs6 phase 2 petrol from past 11 months Excellent car to drive.... Highway and city ..... Dynamics are soooooo good stability and handling are rock solid..... Engine is also refined and Torquay after bs6 phase 2..... But due to it's heavy weight... Baleno feels more faster in this segment.. but other than that it's very satisfactory that i choose altroz over baleno

Best entry level car for both city and rural use is Maruti Spresso VXI Plus AMT. Instead of Alto, Celerio, even Wagon R, this is the best car with great ground clearance, good visibility, great driving position, good mileage, can be used rough. Next to this rang, its better to buy Punch, for bith city and highway.

PLEASE SUGGEST: I20 asta (around 10L) and toyota glanza v (around 10.50L) petrol Manual.......which one to buy...... Situation: 1. I want a car for a family of 4-5 people. Will own it for long term say 8-10 yrs. 2. Upgrading from alto k10 2011 model. Yes, I've had that car for more than 12 yrs now. (1st hand). 2. I have test driven baleno and i20 both. I20 feels more premium. It has many features. It has sunroof as well. (Don't know if that would be useful or not). 3. Baleno feels less premium. It doesn't have any vibrations but i20 is better in terms of vibrations and engine refinement I guess. 4. Engine- I think engine is obviously better for baleno since it provides better power with a better mileage. 5. Long term built issues - what i have noticed from owning k10 alto for so long is that the long term durability of the built of maruti cars is not that great....awaz aaney lgti hai fittings mein se.....unecessary vibrations shuru ho jati.....ia hyundai better in terms of build? Particularly these two? I am more inclined towards i20 coz of features and build....but is it worth compromising on the mileage and engine of baleno? PS- Why have i written glanza in heading is coz looks are important to me and if i drop the idea of buying i20 i would go for glanza and not baleno. Also- Hows the after sales service of toyota?

I have been using tigor petrol automatic since 4 years, and i absolutely love it because you dont have to wait in long queues for cng, petrol almost no queue in city limits, for intercity travel as well cng pumps are limited Also engine gives good performance on hill drives which is essential when you will do intercity travel, especially with more people And lastly my car is always parked in the sunlight on the street so i feel cng tank may get very hot and poses a risk Consider these points before making final choice All d best😄
